Western Illinois University - Quad Cities - Academics

Pamela J. White has taught in the field of Museum Studies for twenty years. She has been a museum director and curator and these experiences inform her teaching.

Dr. White received her law degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and her PHD in Art History from the University of Kansas.

In addition to teaching for Western Illinois University, she offers the course "Art, Law and Ethics" for the University of Iowa College of Law and "Grant Writing for the Arts" for the UI School of Art and Art History. Dr. White is an independent Art consultant specializing in the areas of public art and artist rights.
