Sarah grew up in Batavia, IL. She received her B.F.A. and M.A. degrees in Art History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Sarah specialized in Italian Renaissance art, but has a deep appreciation for the medieval and modern periods.

She interned at The Phillips Collection in 2006 through the Illinois at the Phillips Program at the Center for the Study of Modern Art (now run by George Washington University).

Currently she is teaching part time at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL ,while she pursues her studies at WIU.
