Dr. Jeannie M. Woods, Theatre and Dance, has received a $5000 grant from Western’s School of Distance Learning, International Studies and Outreach, to develop an online version of her THEATRE 390 course, World Theatre History I.

Dr. Woods’ proposal was among more than 30 submitted for consideration. The WIU program is described as an opportunity that “continues to enhance Western’s core values of Higher Values in Higher Education which are central to our history and tradition of commitment to teaching, to the individual learner, and to active involvement in the teaching-learning process.”
