Movie Star: The Secret Lives of Jean Seberg advance trailer

In August 2010, Richard Ness, broadcasting associate professor, was interviewed by author Garry McGee and producers Kelly and Tammy Rundle, for their documentary Movie Star: The Secret Lives of Jean Seberg.  It is Ness’s voice that you hear in the advance trailer for the documentary.

McGee was a student of Ness’s in the early 90s and began his research about Seberg in Ness’s class. McGee has gone on to write four books about Seberg including the biography Breathless and is also involved in the documentary.  McGee has also written about Doris Day and Paul McCartney.

The Rundles have created a website for Movie Star. Information about the movie and Jean Seberg can be found on the website.

The documentary is set for release in 2013 which would have been Seberg’s 75th birthday year.
