UTV Produces Macomb’s Historic Homes
University Television has recently completed a new television series entitled Macomb’s Historic Homes.
Macomb’s Historic Homes is an innovative, five-part series that features lovely historic homes from several eras in the town’s past, and in the process, it deals with notable local people, neighborhood development, important architectural styles, and some remarkable renovation and restoration efforts. Anyone with an interest in Macomb, small-town America, home styes and decorating, or residential life over the generations will find this a fascinating video series.
The series was developed by Macomb historian Dr. John Hallwas, writer and host, and was produced by Roger Kent, associate director of University Television at WIU . This series is currently running on local television WIU-TV Channel 3 and is also available on DVD.
