Summer Music Institute and Scholarships

The 2011 Summer Music Institute at Western Illinois University will begin on June 9 and run through July 1. Camps begin with a 4-day session specializing on instrumental group study, followed by three week-long sessions.

Broadcasting Students Win at NBS

Knavel in Elmhurst Show

Two pieces by Jenny Knavel, professor art, were accepted into the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild’s National Art Premiere 2011 at the Elmhurst Art Museum, Elmhurst IL.
Knavel’s artwork, The Lesson, was chosen by juror Peggy Dee for a Third Place prize.

UTV Provides Television Services for Macomb

University Television has been awarded a yearly contract to provide television services for the City of Macomb, Il. University Television will be responsible for video taping all city meetings, and managing the city’s public access channel 15 starting April 1, 2011.
