Departments & Schools

The College of Fine Arts and Communication includes 6 academic departments plus the Museum Studies Program. There are also 4 outreach units. The College acts as an umbrella over these departments which allows close interaction between them.

• Jeremy Hernandez, broadcasting major, gets real experience working with University Television
• Mike Bielecki, music business, gets “on the air” experience with Tri States Public radio.
• Ken George, art, designed the new logo for the Performing Arts Society.
• Kathleen McTaggert, music business alum, currently at Ravinia Festival, served on the executive board of the Bureau of Cultural Affairs.
• CSD majors get hands-on experience in the Speech & Hearing Clinic.
