The best way to get to know our program is to visit us in person. We invite all prospective graduate students to campus for an individual visit or to attend our open house.
We host Graduate Program Open Houses (fall and spring) for the perspective students. Please contact Julie Dalmasso (E-mail: JL-Dalmasso@wiu.edu, Phone: (309) 298-1955).
If you cannot attend an open house we invite you to arrange an individual visit in our department.
Campus visits include meeting with faculty, attending a graduate class, touring our Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, and meeting with current students.
If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact Dr. Amanda B. Silberer at (309) 298-1955 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prospective undergraduate and transfer students are encouraged to visit the Macomb campus to learn about WIU and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. One of the best ways to visit campus is during one of the Discover Western
events organized through the admissions office. Faculty from CSD attend every Discover Western event and will be available to answer your questions and give you a tour of our department and clinics.
If you are unable to visit campus but have questions about our undergraduate program, please contact our undergraduate advisor, Ms. Kate Pohlpeter at (309) 298-1955 or email@example.com.
We host additional CSD activities as part of Discover Western. This opportunity to attend an undergraduate class, explore our department and on-campus clinic, and tour the campus. If you would like to receive an invitation to these events, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (309) 298-1955.
