Allie Hulen is a music therapy major with piano as her principal instrument. She has played piano for 12 years and also enjoys playing guitar, singing, and songwriting. As a teacher she is excited to share her love of music with other aspiring musicians.

Hyunjin Jang

Hyunjin Jang is currently an MM-Piano Pedagogy major at WIU. She holds an MM-Piano Performance degree from Sookmyung Women's University in South Korea and has been playing piano for 15 years. She is excited to teach children of all ages and share her passion for piano with them.

Brian has been playing piano since the age of 12, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Piano Performance at WIU. He received Bachelor's degrees in Music and Computer Science from Drake University, where he gained experience performing in a wide variety of solo and ensemble settings. Brian is looking forward to working with new students and helping them find their passion with music.

Dayoung Lee is working on a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at WIU. She has been playing piano for 19 years, and received Bachelors degree in Music from Sookmyung Women’s University in South Korea. She is looking forward to enjoying the new year with new students and making music with them.

Paul Rich is a BM- Music Therapy major at WIU, with piano as his primary instrument. He has been playing piano for 10 years and has privately studied both jazz and classical piano prior to and throughout his time at WIU, as well accompanied multiple styles of vocal ensembles. His goal is to become a certified music therapist and continue to use music to enrich the lives of others.


Saeger

Lauren Saeger has a Master of Music degree in Vocal Jazz Studies from Georgia State University. Her teaching background is varied - she has taught music classes and directed choirs at University of New Mexico and Illinois State University as well as taught class piano as a certified Yamaha instructor in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She enjoys teaching a wide range of subjects and students, and she is looking forward to being a member of the WIU Community Music School family.
