Amy A. Broadbent earned a Bachelor of Music in piano performance at Western Illinois University in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in piano pedagogy. Ms. Broadbent is the vice-president for WIU’s collegiate chapter of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). She also enjoys teaching group piano lessons through WIU’s community music school.

Jillian Escobar is a BM-Piano Performance Major at WIU. She has been playing piano for 13 years, during which she has had several years of experience accompanying and performing for churches, nursing homes, and various events. Her goal is to share her passion for music by guiding and teaching students who wish to learn and enjoy the piano.

Allie Hulen is a music therapy major with piano as her principal instrument. She has played piano for 12 years and also enjoys playing guitar, singing, and songwriting. As a teacher she is excited to share her love of music with other aspiring musicians.

Hyunjin Jang

Hyunjin Jang is currently an MM-Piano Pedagogy major at WIU. She holds an MM-Piano Performance degree from Sookmyung Women’s University in South Korea and has been playing piano for 15 years. She is excited to teach children of all ages and share her passion for piano with them.

Brian has been playing piano since the age of 12, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Piano Performance at WIU. He received Bachelor's degrees in Music and Computer Science from Drake University, where he gained experience performing in a wide variety of solo and ensemble settings. Brian is looking forward to working with new students and helping them find their passion with music.

Paul Rich is a BM- Music Therapy major at WIU, with piano as his primary instrument. He has been playing piano for 10 years and has privately studied both jazz and classical piano prior to and throughout his time at WIU, as well accompanied multiple styles of vocal ensembles. His goal is to become a certified music therapist and continue to use music to enrich the lives of others.

Lauren Saeger has a Master of Music degree in Vocal Jazz Studies from Georgia State University. Her teaching background is varied - she has taught music classes and directed choirs at University of New Mexico and Illinois State University as well as taught class piano as a certified Yamaha instructor in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She enjoys teaching a wide range of subjects and students, and she is looking forward to being a member of the WIU Community Music School family.

I am a Music Therapy major at WIU with a piano principle. I've been playing since I was 8, but while I continue to learn for myself through lessons, I am excited to teach and work with kids, watching their skills and passions develop. My goal after graduating is to continue with my music and be a therapist in a Children's Hospital.
