About the Artist
Julie Mahoney is a Professor of Art at Western Illinois University. She came to WIU in 1995 after earning an MFA from the Wayne State University, and a BFA degree from the Center For Creative Studies, Detroit, Michigan.
She currently teaches Watercolor and Life Drawing. Julie continues to work and exhibit her work. She is a native of Detroit, Michigan.
