About the Artist
Susan Czechowski serves as Professor of Art (Silkscreen, Design, Art Appreciation, Art in New York City). She came to WIU in 2001 after serving as an Instructor of Art at SUNY Oswego, Oswego, NY from 1999-2001. She earned an MFA in Printmaking from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY in 1999, and a BA degree from Washington College, Chestertown, MD. Currently she teaches ARTS 368, 369, 468 - (Silkscreen I, II, III, IV); ARTS 101-(2D Design), ARTH180 - Introduction to Art (online) and ARTH379/MUST679-Art in New York City.
Her artwork has been exhibited internationally, nationally and is included in a number of private and public collections. Susan is a native of Long Island, New York. She is a member of Southern Graphics Council.
