Employment Opportunities
Western Illinois University student workers, who meet the requirements as detailed in WIU's Student Employment Handbook, provide an essential service to Tri-States AIS while gaining valuable broadcasting and work experience.
Students read record audio versions of magazines and newspapers, edit audio files, run our automation software, work with volunteers, and assist with other projects as needed. Broadcasting experience is preferred but not required. An interview an audition are required.
WIU students have the following employment options:
- Talent Grants
- Tuition Waivers
- Regular Student Employment
Audio Information Services follows the guidelines as set by the Western Illinois University Action/Equal Opportunity Student Employment Guidelines. The complete set of guidelines can be found at WIU's Financial Aid Website.
