"We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children." This ancient proverb is a pivotal compass for my life. As a conservationist, I know the vital role we play today will help preserve what little of the untouched natural world we have left on this earth for future generations to enjoy. Currently, I am working towards a Master's Degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Administration with an emphasis on Wildlife and Resource Management regarding Youth Programming in Outdoor Educational Pursuits. In the summers, I work as an Adventure Program Director at several Girl Scout camps in Wisconsin and Illinois. I love working with children and hope to be an inspiration to their lives. To hone my skills even further, I have decided to sign on as the ECOEE Graduate Assistant and work on apprenticing as a Wilderness Education Association Instructor. Wish us good fortune as we travel the continent in pursuit of education, skill development, and pure adventure!
