I am usually up for anything fun and spontaneous. So with that said, it is easy to understand how I love a good road trip! I enjoy being outdoors and hanging out at the lake, swimming, fishing, and just laying out enjoying the weather. I love bonfires and barbequing as well as playing basketball, 4-wheeling, and drawing.
Why I decided to go on ECOEE:
I decided to go on ECOEE because I felt it would be a great opportunity to get out of the typical boring classroom setting and instead into a more natural “hands on” environment. What better way to do that other than this expedition? I hear only good things about this program from past alumni and just listening to their memories and stories has me stoked. I learn better by being involved rather than told and because of that I knew if I was to pass up this opportunity that I would later regret it.
Those few months spent out in natures hands will be an awesome experience. From learning the basic skills needed to survive in the wild to the steps it takes to be a great outdoor leader, ECOEE will help me prepare for what I am to become. I want to learn more about myself and also taking the time to get to know my fellow ECOEE family will be interesting and fun. I will miss my family and friends back home but can not wait to come back and share all my stories with them!!
