Mr Chris Rodgers

Assistant Professor of Military Science

Mr Rodgers went to basic training at Ft. Benning, GA in 2001 and served 8 years enlisted.  He was commissioned in 2008 from Western Illinois University.

He is a graduate of the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course; he also graduated from Primary Leadership Development Course, Intelligence Analyst Course, and Radio Operator-Maintainer Course during his enlisted career.

He has served in numerous positions from RTO, Saw Gunner, Team Leader, Communications Sergeant, S-2 Section Sergeant. He is currently serving as an Infantry Platoon Leader for C Co 1-178th IN (Air Assault) and Assistant Professor of Military Science.

His personal and unit decorations include the Valorous Unit Award, Purple Heart, The Army Commendation Medal, The Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Combat Action Badge.

Mr Rodgers has two daughters.
