  Ms. Menke joined the Department of Military Science in December of 2005, serving as the only university employee in the   department.  “Since arriving at the ROTC department I have become more aware of what our brave men and women go through to prepare themselves to become officers and to defend our country.  I am extremely proud to be a part of this organization.”

Ms. Menke is a volunteer for a local domestic violence/sexual assault organization and a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish of Northern Illinois. During her spare time she enjoys searching for her ancestry, baking and spending time with family/friends.

Ms. Menke is married to Doug and they have one son, Gunnar.
