About Me

As an educator, I have been teaching at Western Illinois University since 2005 in the area of Nutrition and Dietetics. Outside of the classroom, I advise four student organizations including SANE (Student Association for Nutrition Education), the Food and Culture Club, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and the WIU Food Pantry student organization, I am also the director of the WIU Food Pantry. Within dietetics, my area of focus is nutrition throughout the lifespan including the young child and older adults. Outside of the classroom, my research focus is on food insecurity.
