Jill Cassady, Instructor
Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising, and Hospitality
Jill Cassady earned her Bachelor of Science Degree and her Master of Science Degree from Eastern Illinois University.
She began teaching at Western Illinois University in 2002 for the Western Area Career System (WACS). This program encompasses career technical education classes to high school junior and senior level students. Cassady has focused her efforts in the Culinary Arts and Fashion Merchandising areas. She continues to teach the WACS culinary class while also teaching college level Quantity Foods and Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality courses for the Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality.
Prior to joining the staff of Western Illinois University Cassady was a retail manager and district retail manager for Glik’s department store. Her retail experience and culinary expertise have provided her with a wide variety of experience in the world of food and fashion.
