Civics Course Implementation Training

Are you a high school Social Studies teacher? 
Are you looking for assistance in teaching a semester-long civics course?
If the answer is yes, then we have a workshop for you!

Our FREE workshop is designed to:

Promote understanding of HB 4025 and HB800, requiring that every student complete a semester-long Civics course.

  • Orient teachers to the new Illinois Social Science Standards.
  • Provide additional knowledge and resources related to teaching the election.
  • Provide additional knowledge and resources related to service learning.
  • Raise Awareness and develop connections with local resources to engage students in Civics and Social Science at the local level.

Participants can earn 14 professional development credits
