Phi Eta Sigma is a National Honor Society founded in 1923 that serves to encourage and promote academic excellence among Freshmen. Since 1923, over 975,000 people have joined Phi Eta Sigma. It is the oldest and largest honor society for outstanding first year college and university students in the United States. Any college freshman that has a GPA of 3.5 or higher during their first year is eligible, and encouraged, to join. We are one of the first honors organizations that they will come in contact with and through our service and leadership, we offer many opportunities for academic and personal growth.
