Society for Human Resource Management - Western Illinois University Student Chapter
Founded in 1948, SHRM is the world’s largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 275,000 members in over 160 countries, SHRM is the leading provider of resources to serve the needs of HR professionals and advance the professional practice of human resource management. SHRM has more than 600 affiliated chapters within the United State.
As a local student chapter, our goal is to further the professional advancement of our members by providing leadership opportunities, HR knowledge, professional speakers, seminars, company tours, conferences, and several other hands-on HR experiences for our members.
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) at WIU is open to all majors. Anyone is welcome to join!

This is a social meeting for potential new members to do a meet and greet with the current members. There will be food and drinks provided during this meeting.

We will be joining the QC Chapter for a video conference meeting.
Wednesday, September 16
Collaborative meeting with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Zeta Iota Chapter. This meeting will be focused on social responsibility of student organizations.
Wednesday, September 30
We will video conference with the QC Chapter. The guest speaker will be Paul Winston, Manager of Global Performance Management, Deere & Co., Managing Employee Performance Around the World.
