Dr. Sanders received his Ph.D. in economics from Kansas State University and joined the department in the Spring of 2011. He has published 22 academic articles in journals such as Economics Letters, Southern Economic Journal, Journal of Sports Economics, Journal of Economic Education, and European Journal of Political Economy. His work has been cited in an amicus curiae brief to the United States Supreme Court, as well as by journal articles, books, textbooks, the Marginal Revolution blog, BizEd Magazine,,,,,,,,, Kansas City Infozine,,,, Kansas State University News Services,, and His specialities are in the areas of sports economics, international political economy, social choice, and industrial organization.
