  • Served as President of Justice Studies Association (JSA); two-year term (2008-2009; 2009-2010) and primary organizer of JSA conference in Albany, NY and Knoxville, TN (see www.justicestudies.org).

  • Selected as the 1988 Outstanding Teacher in the College of Arts and Sciences at Western Illinois University.

  • Selected by the Provost's Council as Western Illinois University's Designated Delegate to the 1989 Meeting of the American Association for Higher Education (Chicago, IL) so as to be "Recognized as an Outstanding Teacher Within Higher Education."

  • Selected by the Provost's Council as one of two professors to represent Western Illinois University in the "Forum on Exemplary Teaching" at the 1990 Meeting of the American Association for Higher Education (San Francisco, California).

  • Chosen by a panel of students to appear in the "Select Faculty Brochure" sponsored by the Student Government Association in  April, 1990. This brochure lists individuals as "Representative of the Outstanding Faculty at Western Illinois University."

Dr. Wozniak joined the Department in 1979.
