Mary Olive Woods Scholarship

There are four types of Scholarships available.

The Mary Olive Woods Academic Excellence Scholarship is for full time students with a declared major in religious studies enrolled in a philosophy course or a declared major in philosophy enrolled in a religious studies course. Students must have a GPA minimum of 3.5 or in the major and a minimum of 30 hours completed. There are up to two scholarships available for $6,000 each year.

The Mary Olive Woods Academic Achievement Scholarship is for full time students with a declared major in religious studies or a declared major in philosophy and enrolled in a religious studies course. Students must have a GPA minimum of 3.25 overall or in the major or for incoming freshmen, an ACT of 28 25 or higher and minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.5 3.25 (recently revised for the 2016-17 entering class). Scholarships are available for $3,000 each year.

The Mary Olive Woods Academic Scholarship is for full time students with a declared major in religious studies or a declared major in philosophy and enrolled in a religious studies course. Students must have a GPA minimum of 3.00 overall or in the major or for incoming freshmen, an ACT of 26 22 or higher and minimum high school G.P.A. of 3.25 3.00 (recently revised for the 2016-17 entering class).  The award amount is up to $1,500 each year, with an application required each semester.

The Mary Olive Woods Religious Studies Minor Scholarship is for full time students with a declared minor in religious studies, a GPA minimum of 3.00 in religious studies, and are enrolled in a religious studies course. The award amount is up to $1,000 each year.

Application for the Mary Olive Woods Religious Studies Minor Scholarship

For all MOW Scholarships: No student may receive more than one type of Mary Olive Woods Scholarship in any given academic year. Scholarships are subject to funding availability from the Mary Olive Woods Trust.
