"WIU in Belfast" Study-Abroad Interest Meetings
September 19, 2011
"WIU in Belfast" Interest Meetings will be held on Wednesday, September 28 (at 5 p.m. in 341 Memorial Hall) and Thursday, September 29 (at 3:30 in Morgan 453) for those interested in learning more about WIU's new 3-week Summer 2012 Irish Study Abroad Program based at Queen's University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The program, for which students will earn 6 hours of WIU credit, will take place in late July and early August 2012.
Led by Associate Professor of History Dr. Jennifer McNabb, this interdisciplinary program combines classroom instruction by Queen's University faculty with excursions around Belfast.
Students from all majors may participate, and while programming will focus on the history, culture, and politics of Northern Ireland, coursework will allow students to develop their own interests on a wide range of topics and fields. Attend one of the Interest Meetings to learn more about this new opportunity.
Contact Dr. McNabb (below) for further information.
