Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences (MLAS) Program:

Dr. Aimee Shouse, Director of the Liberal Arts and Sciences Program, is the advisor for the MLAS program for both the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses. Graduate students are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment each semester to review degree progress.  For students planning to register for independent work (LAS 504, 667, 695, 696, or 699), an appointment is required to discuss the student's proposal for that work.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Shouse, please contact her at:

Integrated BLAS/MLAS Program (IBMP):

In consultation with the advisor for the MLAS program, Ms. Ellen Poulter and Mr. Kenny Wheeler also advise those students who wish to complete their Bachelor of LAS and go directly into the Master of LAS. The Integrated BLAS/MLAS Program is designed for students to undertake coursework that qualifies for the MLAS while completing their coursework for the BLAS.
