Mid-America History Conference Issues Call for (Graduate) Papers

Mar 26, 2009

The Thirty-first Mid-America Conference on History welcomes proposals for papers or sessions in all fields and all periods of history. Graduate students' papers are welcome. Paper proposals (and/or session proposals) are due by May 30, 2009. Proposals should include a paragraph about the content of the paper. Send proposals to Dr. Robert Griswold of the University of Oklahoma (Norman), where the conference will be held from September 17-19, 2009.

WIU History graduate students presenting research papers at academic conferences are eligible to apply for grants from the WIU School of Graduate Studies and from the History Department's Professor Emeritus Fund to help defray conference-related travel expenses.
