I'm well-rehearsed in the art of Academic Discourse in the humanities, but my true love is erotic, avant-garde poetry. I moved to Western Illinois from Western New York in 2005, and graduated from WIU in 2006 with a B.A. in English. I haven't always been a successful writer, though I've always had a lot to say. With the help of a competent tutor, a lot of hard work and a little patience, my ability to say what I have to say has evolved. In 2006, I was named Fall Department Scholar and received numerous awards and scholarships-for my writing.
