Robert, Graduate Assistant-History and Philosophy

A native to the Quad City area, I graduated from Rockridge High School in 2000 where I played football, wrestling, and baseball. I entered the military in 2005 and was a part of the 101st Airborne Division. After being honorably discharged in 2006, I went into the Army Reserves as a drill sergeant and decided to go back to a local community college. After getting my associate's degree in general studies, I went to Western Illinois University to pursue a double major in history and philosophy. I graduated in 2011 from WIU, took a year off to decide my career and life path, and decided to pursue a master's degree in history at WIU.
