Greetings! I am a graduate student studying English.  I have experience working with composition students online and ESL students in the Quad Cities.  I have a love for Gothic Romance and an odd obsession with pens, notebooks, and planners.

I enjoy helping students brainstorm and figuring out their unique perspective on a topic.

Nicole is a second year graduate student and a veteran writing center consultant. She completed her undergraduate degree at WIU with a major in English and a minor in Psychology. She is currently researching gender in the ghost story and loves the horror genre, Gothic literature, feminist literatures, Keats, her dog, Tilly, & her bunny, Mina.

In the Writing Center, I enjoy helping students brainstorm about topics they love and giving students transferrable writing skills that they can carry with them throughout their studies and their lives.
