Dr. Keith Holz, Associate Professor Art History, Department of Art, presented a paper at Munich’s Institute for Advanced Study (Ludwig-Maximillian-Universität) entitled “Recasting exiled artists groups as transnational diasporic communities.” The Institute hosted a conference “Netzwerke des Exils. Künstlerische Verflechtungen, Austausch und Patronage nach 1933,“ from November 12-14, 2010. Holz’s paper was singled out at length in a review of the conference published by Kilian Trotier in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, 17.XI.2010, p. N4–Germany’s leading paper of record.
