Business Information: Philanthropic Advisor for Major Gifts at The Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago.

Advice for Freshman: Start forming your own personal Board of Trustees--professors, mentors, or professionals that can give you career, business, and life advice for those tough questions like "what do you want to do after college?" or "should I go to grad school or work first?"  They will probably give you the most honest answers you'll ever hear.  Get an internship somewhere you've never lived. Study abroad. Join a few clubs, but also be an executive board member.  Work hard, play hard, and try to live up every second of those 4 years.   And finally, don't forget Western after you've graduated...give back and go visit!

Favorite WIU Memory: My entire junior year ... after studying abroad in Europe,  I lived in the Delta Zeta house, worked-part time on campus, and was really getting involved--Homecoming Court, multiple clubs and honor societies.  Spring break was in the Bahamas with my DZ sisters and then spent the summer interning in Chicago. Junior year is where it's at! Take me back!

Family Information/Special Interests and Hobbies:  My closest friends in Chicago are my sorority sisters from WIU!  You can usually find me doing things I love: traveling somewhere new, reading a good book, running, skiing, attempting to golf, volunteering, cheering on the Cubs and Bears, or hunting down the perfect rooftop view of the greatest city in the world...Chicago!
