Advice for Freshman: Be responsible for and manage yourself. Plan and use your time wisely. Make going to class your number one priority and keeping up with reading and assignments number two priority. Extra-curricular activities and socializing are important but remember why you are in college. Balance is the key to having a successful and rewarding college experience.

Favorite WIU Memory: Walking onto campus in front of Sherman Hall for the first time and looking up at the Golden Dome and realizing I had an opportunity to have a better life than my parents and grandparents through a quality education.
