Degree: Bachelor of Arts degree in music education and Master of Arts degree in music, both from WIU; Type 75 Administration Certificate from NIU in 1991

Business Information: Retired Director of Choirs and Director of Student Activities at Hinsdale South High School in Darien, Illinois. Thirty five years in secondary music education. Currently serves as the Director of the NIU University Chorus. He also directs the Young Men's Chorus of the Young Naperville Singers and is the current president of the Central Division of the American Choral Directors Association.

Advice for Freshman: Balance is the key--work hard, get involved and have fun.

Favorite WIU Memory: Working with the WIU Summer Camp Program and Staff--I attended as a camper in the summer of '69. Over the course of 10 years, I  served in various capacities as counselor, head counselor and camp director.

Family/Hobbies: My wife, Sue and I have been married for 35 years. Hobbies include Traveling, Dining, Grilling on the Deck, Theater, Time with Family and Friends, and attending Concerts and Sporting Events. Our daughter, Rachel, is the Director of the Chicago Botanic Gardens Plants of Concern Program.
