University 100 Freshman Seminar: Personal Growth in Higher Education
This class focuses on success as students have the opportunity to participate in group discussions and activities that help them adjust to their first year of college.
Activities include exploring:
- Time Management
- Test Taking Skills
- Career Choices
- Major Choices
- Communication Skills
- Information Gathering
- Problem Solving
Enrollment is limited to 20 students per section. The course is one credit hour and meets once a week for sixteen weeks beginning the first week of the semester. It also counts as an elective and is graded so it will impact a student's GPA. The sections listed below are taught by Advisors in the University Advising and Academic Services Center who are dedicated to identifying issues that students need help with during their first year of college.
