Overview

Students network with WIU alumniThe Department of Accountancy provides a student-centered environment that promotes academic excellence, professional and personal growth, a spirit of collegiality, and ethical and professional conduct. Students enrolled in the accountancy program who plan to take the CMA, CFE, or CPA examinations will have the opportunity to select from the following programs:

The Accountancy programs are available both at the main campus in Macomb and at the Quad Cities (QC) campus in Moline. The Quad Cities campus is an upper-division campus that enables students to transfer from community college or other colleges to complete their junior and senior years.

In addition, the department offers a minor in accountancy.

Accountancy students are required to meet with an advisor prior to registering for classes; all advising is done through the College of Business and Technology's Advising Center.
