Phone-based Services

For phone support, call 309-298-2704. Please have your ECOM username ready when you call.

The Support Center provides phone-based support for WIU students, faculty, and staff. Via the phone, Support Center staff assist with:

  • connection or network issues
  • login and password problems
  • hardware and supported software questions
  • WIU's Zimbra email system
  • WIU's distance learning platform (Western Online)

Phone Assistance Hours

  • Sunday – Thursday: 7:30 AM - 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • During Break: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
