National Survey of Student Engagement - Campus Results

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) collects information from first-year and senior students about the characteristics and quality of their undergraduate experience.  The results provide an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending their college or university.  Colleges and universities use the data to measure and improve student engagement in effective educational practices that are empirically linked with learning, personal development, and other desired outcomes such as persistence, satisfaction, and graduation.  In 2020, more than 484,242 first-year and senior students attending 601 U.S. bachelor's degree-granting institutions participated in the survey.
