During this session, instructors will learn the nuts and bolts of implementing the new requirements for Univ 100, a course redesigned to foster new student success and provide students with fundamental principles of well-being. Session topics will include: discussing the common syllabus and how to use it; instructing students on the multiple dimensions of wellness; working with a peer mentor; implementing co-curriculars; using Western Online; and learning about multiple resources available for instructors. All UNIV 100 instructors are encouraged to attend, and Gen Ed Y faculty are welcome to participate as well.
Each instructor is asked to attend both training sessions (Part 1 & 2),which don't have to be on the same day. Tweet this!
