Save the Date for the 2013 Pre-Law Symposium and Undergraduate Research Day
The 2013 Honors Pre-Law Symposium will be held February 18 in the University Union. This event is aimed at WIU students who are considering law school, and includes a panel discussion and keynote address. Last year’s event featured nearly 100 participants and a stellar keynote address by Chicago attorney Matt Bills ‘99.
The 2013 Thomas E. Helm Undergraduate Research Day will be held April 17 in the University Union. The event provides a public, university-wide forum for undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activity. Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to submit their faculty mentored research, scholarship, or creative activity. Each student or group of students that participates in Undergraduate Research Day has at least one faculty mentor that aids in their project. The student or group of students creates a poster or podium presentation to display their research.
Please plan on joining the Centennial Honors College for these two great events!
