WIU Offers 100th Centennial Honors Scholarship
Western Illinois University recently extended its 100th offer for its prestigious Centennial Honors Scholarship for Fall 2013. High school students with an ACT score of 32 or higher (top 1 percent of test-takers in the nation), and a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.
"Of the 100 scholarship offers, 40 high school seniors have accepted for Fall 2013," said Admissions Director Andy Borst. "Students still have until May 15 to accept the scholarship. Compared to last year, we had just 17 students apply who met the scholarship criteria and 10 of those students chose to enroll. We're very happy that many more very-high achieving students are considering WIU."
