WIU-QC ViewbookWins Bronze Award

The 2012-13 Western Illinois University-Quad Cities viewbook recently received a bronze award in the 2012 Collegiate Advertising Awards (CAA) contest. The viewbook was designed by Jessica Lambert, a webmaster/graphic designer in University Relations, in collaboration with the WIU-QC admissions and marketing team.

More than 700 entries were received from colleges and universities across the nation. The WIU-QC viewbook received a bronze in the "Brochure-Multiple Pages" category. According to the CAA, the bronze awards (scores of 85-89 out of 100) were issued for entries that received top marks from judges placing them in the top 16 percent in the nation for advertising excellence. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
