Centennial Honors College

Undergraduate Research Day Expanded

The Annual Thomas E. Helm Undergraduate Research Day will be expanded to two days in Spring 2013 and will be held April 16 and 17 in the University Union. Once again, the Centennial Honors College is pleased to sponsor the event and encourages all undergraduate students to present their projects.

Students are invited to present posters and make podium presentations of their research and give performances of creative works. Guidelines, Abstract Submission Forms, and additional information can be found at wiu.edu/honors. All projects selected will be recognized, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be presented to those judged "best projects.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013
6:00-6:15 p.m. Welcome and Opening Remarks-University Union Prairie Lounge
6:15-6:30 p.m. Distinguished Alumni Presentation - Alex Heuer, class of 2008
6:30-8:30 p.m. Podium Presentations - University Union

Wednesday, April 17, 2013
8:30-10:30 a.m. Poster Set Up - University Union Grand Ballroom
10:30-12:00 Noon Performance Presentations - Prairie Lounge
12:00-12:15 p.m. Welcome and Remarks
