WIU-QC Student Project Leads to Full-Time Employment, FAA Certification

Two Western Illinois University-Quad Cities alumni have received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification and their designs are being installed in airplanes serviced at Elliott Aviation in Moline as a result of a WIU Engineering coursework project. The full story can be found at

WIU School of Engineering Hosts WIU-QC High School Expos

In an effort to build relationships with Quad Cities area high schools and recruit high achieving students to WIU, the School of Engineering hosted 202 students from 9 high schools at multiple WIU-QC High School Expos this fall.  Students interacted with current WIU students and faculty in hands-on explorations of the Engineering laboratories. WIU Alumnus Al Boyer Speaks to CBT Students
